The Westminster Parents Club
Creating community among Westminster families through social and charitable events.
Every parent and guardian at Westminster School and The Griffin Academy is a member of the Westminster Parents’ Club (WPC). We partner with the school administration to support our teachers and students, build community, and provide support for educational, technological, and recreational needs. We encourage you to participate, as family involvement is instrumental to each child’s development here at Westminster.
Each year, the WPC plans several events that celebrate and enrich the school, staff, and our children. The WPC activities encourage Westminster spirit and pride. Most events, like the Back to School Picnic, are open to all students and families. A few, like Trivia Night, are just for grown-ups—and well worth arranging childcare!
In addition to events, parents are encouraged to volunteer for ongoing school activities organized by the WPC. These include the Dimes for Drama fundraising project, the Spiffy Griffin uniform store, and teacher appreciation activities throughout the year.
These efforts come together only through the efforts of our wonderful volunteers. The connections made through the planning and events are so valuable for the time at the school and beyond. The school community greatly benefits when we share our ideas, talents, time, and resources. We encourage you to join the board, volunteer for specific activities, or attend our events. We hope to see you soon!
