What Distinguishes Westminster School?

Westminster School Transitions to Distance Learning

As mandated by Governor Northam of Virginia, Westminster School’s “brick and mortar” school is temporarily closed. Westminster transitioned to a fully developed and dynamic distance learning plan on March 23. Students attend daily live classes with their teachers and classmates through the platform, Zoom. Using Google Classroom, teachers assign daily work and interact with their students who are able to submit work through this paperless platform.

We would have never guessed that the theme of the 2019-2020 school year, “Breakthroughs,” would have literally come to fruition. With the implementation of online course technology and communication we have engaged in our very own Breakthrough!
